Mentoring & Teaching
Mentoring
I have mentored over 20 Honours students to complete successful research theses and co-mentored several
doctoral students, as well as research associates, and interns. I have worked with mentees to submit their
work for publication and present at conferences.
I enjoy collaborating with mentees and helping them work towards their goals. I strive to create a
supportive and positive environment where trainees can ask questions and feel heard.
Teaching
I have experience lecturing to post-graduate clinical psychology students and medical residents as
well as providing professional education content to practicing physicians. I have given lectures as
part of coursework at Monash University and The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Lecture content has included psychopathology and TBI including suicidality and self-harm, aging with TBI, healthy aging and TBI, as well as memory and disorders of memory.
Tutoring
I have worked for over 10 years as a private tutor for undergraduate and Honors students in psychology.
I work with students one-on-one to help them deepen their understanding of their course content, develop strong academic writing and presentation skills, and produce high level outputs (essays, lab reports, dissertation theses).
